ABOUT
Bernal Chaves is a creative director who works with sound as material and language. He explores how music and sonic structure carry meaning for brands, turning strategy into something you can hear and feel.
He builds sonic systems, not slogans into jingles, but decisions into acoustics.
He has developed sonic identities for the Costa Rican Tourism Board, BarmeniaGothaer, Tic Tac, kicker, PiCK UP!, and girocard, working with agencies in Germany and Costa Rica.
With Esferal, sound is treated as a structural component of brand design. The focus shifts from isolated assets to coherent and flexible frameworks shaped through use.
His work explores how brands operate within culture as living spheres of interaction, where sound moves between environments, touchpoints, and moments, shaping how people connect and engage.
From audio everywhere to intentional use.
From noise to purpose.
He works as a design partner between strategy and production, developing and scaling sound in cultural contexts.
